Produce good quality LED display of key

To produce a good quality LED display , you need to do the following eight major technical controls :


1 , anti-static electronic display screen LED display assembly plant should have good anti-static measures . Dedicated anti-static , anti-static flooring , anti-static soldering iron , anti-static mat , anti-static ring , anti-static clothing, humidity control , equipment grounding ( in particular cut legs ) , etc. are the basic requirements, and use an electrostatic analyzer regular testing .


2, the drive circuit board design LED display driver circuit of the driver IC module will affect the arrangement of the LED brightness. As the driver IC output current in PCB board transmission distance is too far , will make the transmission path is too large pressure drop , affecting the normal operating voltage of the LED leads to lower its brightness . We often find that the LED display modules around the middle of some of the LED brightness is lower than that for this reason. Therefore, to ensure the consistency of the display brightness , we must design a good driver circuit distribution.


3, the design of the nominal current value of LED current of 20mA, is generally recommended to use the maximum current does not exceed 80 % of the nominal value , especially for a small screen dot pitch , due to poor heat dissipation , but also reduce the current value . According to experience , the red , green and blue LED decay rate inconsistency blue targeted reduction , the current value of the green LED to maintain the consistency of the white balance using the display time .


4, LED lights with a mix of different colors mixed with light brightness profile needs , or in discrete design rule plug light diagram plug light to ensure the brightness of the entire screen for each color consistency . This procedure if problems arise , there will be inconsistencies local brightness display phenomenon , directly affect the display LED display.


5 , the degree of control the vertical line LED lights for it , when the furnace should be sufficient to ensure that LED technology is perpendicular to the PCB board. Any deviation will affect the already set LED brightness uniformity , brightness of color inconsistency .


6 , wave soldering temperature and time required to strictly control the wave front and the furnace temperature soldering time , it is recommended as follows: preheating temperature 100 ℃ ± 5 ℃, the maximum does not exceed 120 ℃, and the preheating temperature rises steadily requirements , welding temperature to 245 ℃ ± 5 ℃, welding time recommended no more than 3 seconds after the furnace avoid vibration or shock LED, until the resumption of normal temperature . Temperature parameters wave soldering machine to regular testing , which is determined by the characteristics of LED , overheating or temperature fluctuations can cause direct damage to the LED or LED quality problems , especially for such a small size of 3mm round and oval LED.


7 , Weld control LED display LED is not lit in the event , often more than 50% probability for all types of Weld causes , such as LED pin Weld , IC pin Weld, Pai Pai mother Weld and so on. Improve these problems requires rigorous quality inspection process improvement and strengthening resolved . Vibration tests before leaving the factory may well be a good test method .


8, the thermal design of LED work may have a fever , high temperature will affect the speed and stability of LED decay , so the PCB thermal design , cabinet ventilation design will affect LED performance.
